Abstract

This study treats on the population structure of Sylvisorexgranti Thomas, 1907 based on the cranial and dental data (tooth tear and the stitch between the basi-sphenoid and the basi-occipital) in the secondary forest at Yoko (Oriental in DRC). During this work, we have observed a sample 50 cranials of Sylvisorexgranti Thomas. These specimens have been captured by means of hole traps (Pitfall), Sherman and the Victor in the secondary forest at Yoko (2012). From ours observations by means of macroscopic, we have got the following results: According to the age classes, we’ve observed the group of young (TW2), the group of adult (TW3) and the group of old specimens (TW4). Among these 50 specimens of Sylvisorexgranti, the adult represent 46 %, the young 38 % and the old follow with 16 %. According to the stitch, this is in function of age. It has generally unseen all the classes of ages. The open stitch has only founded in the class the young (5, 3 %), while it’s exclusively unseen for the old (100 %). About the sex-ratio, this represents 1, 8 in it’s globally, 1, 1 for the young (TW2), 1, 8 for the adult (TW3) AT 7 for the old (tw4).
