Abstract

The development of the Islamic finance industry in Indonesia presents new challenges for financial managers in conventional companies, especially in ensuring compliance with sharia principles, developing innovative products, and improving human resource competence. This research aims to identify the main challenges and adaptive strategies needed to effectively implement Islamic finance principles. The research method is qualitative with a literature study approach, namely analyzing the literature, related regulations, and relevant previous research. The results of the study revealed that financial managers face regulatory complexity, global economic volatility, and limited quality and quantity of human resources who understand Islamic finance. To overcome this, the recommended adaptive strategies include comprehensive risk management, innovation of Islamic financial products, the use of digital technology, strengthening human resource competencies through continuous training, and public education to increase Islamic financial literacy in the community. Thus, financial managers can be better prepared to face the dynamics of the evolving Islamic finance industry.
