Abstract

This study investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors on economic growth in West African countries. Using panel data and econometric techniques, the study finds that FDI in the secondary and tertiary sectors significantly contributes to economic growth, while FDI in the primary sector has a limited effect.
