Insurance markets of depressed regions: features of segmentation

Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of the insurance market in depressed regions. When determining the strategy for the development of insurance markets in depressed regions, it is necessary to take into account their differences associated with the socio-economic situation, the level of purchasing power, the market capacity. In this regard, segmentation of depressed regions and their distribution into groups were made on the basis of the selected criteria.
