Status and trends of the market of medical services in Russia

Abstract

To determine the basic directions of increase of efficiency of the health system in the Russian Federation, article collected and analyzed statistical and analytical information on the state of competitiveness in the market of medical services. Studied the ratio of public and private sectors in the market, their interaction and influence on the volume and quality of services provided to the population. The main competitive advantage for healthcare institutions, taking into account the current state of the market of medical services. Analyzed the amount and sources of funding for the health sector and identified the funding relationship with the general state of the health system in the country. In order to determine the main directions for improving the competitiveness of the medical institutions in the market of medical services, the population survey results are also analyzed according to their satisfaction with the health system, the volume and quality of medical services received. Conducted research in the article is based on the official statistical information, analytical conclusions of economists, polls data.
