Freight inland waterway transport in the Russian Federation

Abstract

In this paper the existing regulatory approaches to the right to regulate the carriage of goods inland waterway transport in the Russian Federation. The article defines the systematized the main legal acts in the field of transportation of goods inland waterway transport, the analysis of basic legal requirements in the field of legal regulation. On the basis of requirements of the Code of lnland Water Transport of the Russian Federation to the transport of goods revealed the need for legislative changes in the normative acts regarding the definition of the requirements on the part of the shipper and the carrier for ships and containers for their commercial use, as well as the responsibility of technically out of the vehicle for supplying carrier or container.
