The analysis of reforms in education in the past and the present

Abstract

Education is a major factor of social and economic development of the country, and its evolution belongs to the priority directions. Both today and more than 90 years ago there are reforms in education which first of all concern change of structure, form, quantity and territorial placement of higher educational institutions and their branches. At the beginning of the 2000th years the President and the Government set the tasks of improvement the quality of system of the higher education, an exception of system of higher education institutions of a something ephemeral, machines of issue of diplomas, etc. Similar decisions were in 1921 when the National commissariat of education of RSFSR set tasks of reduction of a network of educational institutions: to their closing, merge, transformation. Also the basis of these decisions connected with social and economic crisis, and also the purpose in education improvement of quality is similar. In article the retrospective and modern analysis of reforms in education, and also comparison of methods of reduction of a network of educational institutions is carried out.
