Retrospective analysis of the formation of the consumer rights protection insurance services in Russia

Abstract

The article deals with the historical aspect of the problem of protecting the rights ofconsumers of insurance services. The basic methods of protection of the rights of the insured in Tsarist Russia in the period of the planned economy. The place of the mutual insurance system of measures to protect the interests of the insured. The principles of compulsory insurance, were used in the Soviet period. Based on a retrospective analysis of the problem, proposals for improving the protection of the rights of consumers of insurance services.
