Abstract

In the article the methods of business diversification used today in the sphere of industrial production and formation of a diversified product portfolio of the enterprise are considered. The author, analyzing the views of foreign and domestic scientists on the formation of directions for optimizing the activity of an industrial enterprise, draws attention to the fact thatoptimization of activities is one of the most effective tools to increase the competitiveness of enterprises within the industrial cluster.
