Comparetive characteristics of the essence of the activities of the Central bank and commercial banks

Abstract

In this article discusses the main functions of Central Banks, especially the functions ofthe Central Bank ofthe Russian Federation and its activities in relation to commercial banks. The statistics on non-cash payments in Russia and their structure are also given. Statistical data on liquidated credit institutions were reviewed.
