Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop a conceptual model of innovation management in the creation of an innovative engineering product. Research object: innovative engineering. Research methods: general scientific methods (analysis and synthesis of information, comparison). The article examines past research and approaches to innovation management and the creation of an innovative engineering product. Based on past publications, it is concluded that there is no current model for managing innovation and creating a new product of innovative engineering. The article adds the content of the concepts «innovative product of engineering» and «innovation management of engineering». The scientific novelty of the research lies in the proposal of a management concept for the creation of an innovative engineering product. The basic principles of innovation engineering management are highlighted, a matrix of responsibility allocation for key performers in innovative engineering management processes is compiled, and methods of strategic and project management are systematized in accordance with the processes of innovative product development. The theoretical significance of the research is to supplement the existing knowledge of innovation management by systematizing management methods and allocating responsibilities.
