Abstract

Background: Technique selection in hair transplantation is commonly guided by graft-survival figures reported for individual methods in isolation. The joint influence of hair-loss severity (Norwood stage) and donor-site extraction difficulty (hair curl combined with donor skin thickness and firmness) on technique performance has not been modeled together in the existing literature. We evaluated graft survival and follicular transection across four techniques, stratified jointly by Norwood stage and donor difficulty.
