Abstract

La búsqueda de alternativas nutricionales a base de materias primas locales se considera necesarias para la sostenibilidad y productividad en la porcicultura. El objetivo principal fue determinar el efecto del suministro de un yogur a base de yuca sobre la ganancia de peso, la conversión alimenticia, la incidencia de diarreas y la rentabilidad económica en lechones destetados. Para esta investigación se formularon dos dietas: una dieta control convencional (T1) y una dieta suplementada con yogur de yuca (T2), donde se utilizaron 24 lechones destetados a 21 días y se dividieron aleatoriamente en dos grupos (12 animales por tratamiento), el estudio duró 42 días, donde se midió el peso vivo y el consumo de alimento semanalmente.
