Competencias en Inteligencia Artificial en educación superior: scoping review sobre marcos, currículo y evaluación

Abstract

Se examinó cómo la literatura en educación superior conceptualizó, integró y evaluó las competencias vinculadas a la inteligencia artificial (IA), identificando consensos, tensiones y vacíos. Se realizó una scoping review con síntesis temática sobre un corpus final de 38 fuentes publicadas entre 2018 y 2024, organizado en ejes de caracterización del campo, conceptualización, integración curricular/pedagógica y evaluación. Se encontró que las competencias en IA se definieron de manera multidimensional, integrando componentes técnico-operativos, pedagógico-aplicados y ético-críticos, aunque persistió dispersión terminológica (AI literacy, AI competence). La integración curricular se describió principalmente mediante combinaciones de transversalidad (piso común), cursos disciplinares específicos (profundización) y modularidad (actualización), con la formación docente como condición habilitante. La evaluación se reportó como el ámbito menos consolidado, predominando autorreportes y diagnósticos de adopción, con limitada comparabilidad entre instrumentos y escasa evidencia basada en desempeño. Se concluyó que el campo avanzó en implementación y marcos conceptuales, pero requirió mayor estandarización operativa, evaluación híbrida y estudios longitudinales y de escalamiento institucional para sostener una integración responsable y evaluable de la IA en educación superior.
