Formación técnica en la educación secundaria académica: incidencia en el desarrollo socioeconómico juvenil

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la incidencia de la formación técnica integrada a la educación secundaria académica en el desarrollo socioeconómico juvenil, a partir de una revisión narrativa de literatura reciente. Se realizó una búsqueda y selección intencional de estudios publicados entre 2020 y 2025, organizando el análisis mediante análisis de contenido cualitativo en cuatro ejes: pertinencia curricular, articulación con el mercado laboral, equidad y acceso, y resultados socioeconómicos. Los hallazgos muestran que la formación técnica tiende a favorecer la inserción laboral temprana cuando los currículos están actualizados y orientados por competencias, y cuando existen pasarelas efectivas escuela–empresa–Estado mediante prácticas, alternancia o formación dual. No obstante, se identifican limitaciones recurrentes asociadas a desajustes entre perfiles de egreso y demandas productivas, baja cobertura de experiencias laborales pertinentes y brechas de calidad en contextos vulnerables, lo que contribuye a trayectorias laborales inestables y salarios inferiores frente a rutas universitarias. Se concluye que el impacto socioeconómico de la formación técnica no es automático y requiere mejoras sistémicas en calidad, articulación institucional, equidad y continuidad formativa.
