Abstract
Esta investigación exploró cómo los drones y las aplicaciones móviles pueden revolucionar el campo colombiano, enfrentando sus grandes retos agrícolas. Con un enfoque cualitativo se analizó información documental de experiencias nacionales para entender su impacto real. Los drones, con cámaras multiespectrales, generan índices de vegetación (NDVI) y mapas de vigor que detectan a tiempo problemas como estrés hídrico o plagas en cultivos como café y arroz. Al integrarse con apps móviles, ofrecen recomendaciones claras que cualquier agricultor puede usar, haciendo la tecnología más accesible y práctica. Esto reduce el uso de agroquímicos, optimiza el agua y mejora la eficiencia operativa. Se propuso un esquema de procesos y un ciclo tecnológico para implementar drones en una agricultura sostenible, Sin embargo, se concluyó que, los costos elevados, la conectividad limitada y la falta de capacitación son barreras significativas. Aun así, estas herramientas son clave para un campo sostenible, especialmente para pequeños agricultores, si se apoyan con proyectos integrales que combinen tecnología, formación y políticas inclusivas. Fomentar la innovación, la infraestructura rural y el acceso equitativo permitirá escalar estas soluciones, transformando el sector agrícola.
