Origen y Percepción de la Relevancia de las Habichuelas con Dulce en República Dominicana

Abstract

Este estudio analizó el origen y la relevancia cultural de las habichuelas con dulce en tres regiones de la República Dominicana (norte, sur y este). Se empleó un diseño cualitativo, no experimental y transversal, basado en entrevistas semiestructuradas y revisión documental. Los hallazgos muestran que el postre es considerado altamente significativo en todas las regiones, asociado principalmente a la Semana Santa, con variaciones mínimas en ingredientes y preparación. Se identificaron diversas teorías sobre su origen, destacando influencias francesas, africanas, turcas y canarias. Se recomienda ampliar las muestras y explorar comparaciones internacionales para fortalecer el análisis cultural
