Evaluación de la fuerza-resistencia en estudiantes del primer ciclo de secundaria

Abstract

En este trabajo se evaluó la fuerza resistencia en estudiantes de 11 a 15 años del Liceo Prof. Ana Mercedes Balbuena Ramos, del distrito educativo 08-03, República Dominicana. El enfoque fue cuantitativo y el diseño no experimental. Se seleccionaron 186 estudiantes de un total de 226 mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se utilizó una batería de pruebas físicas denominada BAPFFRES, integrada por tres pruebas físicas con duración de 60 segundos. Dicha batería sostuvo una alta confiabilidad para los grupos masculino y femenino según el coeficiente de Pearson (abdominales r = 0.961 y 0.987, lagartijas r = 0.956 y 0.967, y sentadillas r = 0.971 y 0.995). En abdominales, el 21% del grupo masculino y el 11% del femenino se ubicaron en la categoría de excelente. En lagartijas, el 9% del grupo masculino y el 14% del femenino se ubicó en excelente. Por último, respecto a las sentadillas, solo el 8% del grupo masculino y el 11% del femenino se ubicaron en excelente. Se determinan diferencias por género y oportunidades de mejora, principalmente en la fuerza del tren superior. Además, se recomienda integrar el IMC para establecer relación entre el desempeño físico y el estado nutricional.
