Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como tema principal el estudio de la soberanía tecnológica en las universidades cubanas donde se estableció el concepto de la propia soberanía y destaco la gran importancia que tiene para nuestro país seguir luchando por conseguirlo a pesar de todas las acciones llevadas a cabo por los Estados Unidos para impedirlo. Así mismo se planteó una estrategia de migración hacia software libre para las carreras universitarias, siendo esta una de las tecnologías que más promocionan la soberanía en el mundo actualmente. A su vez se realizó una aplicación parcial de la estrategia donde hasta el momento ha dado resultados efectivos.
