Abstract

La educación ambiental en la universidad es fundamental para la sostenibilidad. La carrera de Cultura Física debe integrar estrategias ambientales en su formación para fomentar conductas responsables en la protección del entorno. El objetivo es proponer acciones que fortalezcan la gestión ambiental en estudiantes de Cultura Física mediante procesos sustantivos universitarios. Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo, utilizando métodos teóricos y empíricos como encuestas, observaciones y entrevistas. Se trabajó con profesores y estudiantes de la Universidad de Camagüey para analizar la incorporación de la educación ambiental en el currículo. Se identificaron deficiencias en la integración de la educación ambiental en los procesos universitarios, así como una falta de diagnóstico sobre problemas ambientales locales. Se diseñaron acciones para mejorar la formación ambiental de docentes y estudiantes, fortalecer la investigación en sostenibilidad y promover prácticas responsables en la comunidad universitaria. La implementación de estrategias ambientales en la enseñanza de Cultura Física contribuye a una formación integral del estudiante y su compromiso con la sostenibilidad. Las acciones propuestas permitirán una mejor gestión ambiental y la solución de problemas profesionales en este ámbito.
