La Interculturalidad: debates y tendencias en el contexto latinoamericano

Abstract

El presente artículo de revisión teórica se realiza con el objetivo de exponer algunos debates y tendencias de la interculturalidad en el contexto latinoamericano en los últimos siete años; la metodología empleada se fundamenta en el paradigma interpretativo-hermenéutico desde el enfoque cualitativo; el método utilizado fue el análisis documental, y la técnica seleccionada fue revisión bibliográfica. En los resultados obtenidos, se encontró que algunos temas tendencia sobre interculturalidad se centran en: La educación intercultural en el contexto latinoamericano, educación superior, procesos migratorios y buen vivir. Al finalizar se concluye que la interculturalidad en América Latina propone retos y desafíos que comprometen la educación como elemento indispensable para aportar nuevas perspectivas epistemológicas y caminos que potencien formas de relacionamiento y convivencia entre los sujetos, reflejados en el respeto por la diversidad y la otredad.
