Abstract

In these turbulent times, migration has shaped a new geography of migratory routes. Explaining this phenomenon requires delving into the complexity of the migrants. Migrants face new challenges in search a better life crossing cultural, linguistic and social barriers. The objetive of this study is to reveal the human plots of the Venezuelan migration in the territories and borders of reception, through the interpretation of the subject expiriences of the Venezuela migrants in Latin America. The methodology is framed in the post-positivist paradigm and hermeneutical phenomenology, in the search of meaning implicit in the lived experience of subjects. The techniques and procedures are deployed through an open interview with eighteen intentionally selected Venezuelan migrants in Latin America. The results of the research reveals six plots that are woven in the new host territories and account for the social reality in this human dynamic. The study manages to understand the transcendence that Venezuelan migration has had, recognizing the complexity of the relationships betwen politics, territory and human beings, and invites us to reflect on the need to address this phenomenon from a integral perspective
