Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate dynamic capabilities and their application in the business management of INHARIPAC S.A., with the goal of contributing to the generation of competitive advantages. The methodology employed was exploratory, field-based, bibliographic, descriptive, and correlational, developed in two phases. In the first phase, a diagnosis of the company's current state was conducted using a business characterization matrix, assessing the development of its dynamic capabilities. To this end, an interview was conducted with the general manager and a structured survey using a Likert scale was administered to department heads. In the second phase, the association of dynamic capabilities with business management was determined by applying Spearman's correlation. The results revealed weaknesses in the development of absorptive, innovation, and resilience capabilities, as well as in the organization, direction, and control processes. The conclusion was that there is a very weak positive correlation. However, the level of significance (p= 0.895) far exceeded the critical threshold of (0.05), so the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the variables cannot be affirmed
