Abstract

Dating violence is a multidimensional problem that demands teachers trained to prevent it. Objective: To assess quality indicators in the postgraduate course "Constructive Coping with Dating Violence" and the level of satisfaction perceived by participating teachers. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted with 24 educators from the municipality of Rodas, Cienfuegos province, who teach adolescents and young adults. A questionnaire, semi-structured interview, and SWOT analysis were administered. Data were processed using SPSS v26.0 (descriptive statistics). The course (90 hours, five modules) strengthened competencies to prevent dating violence. Participants showed significant improvements in: problem identification (90%), typology recognition (85%), development of personological resources (75%), design of educational strategies (85%), and intervention proposals (100%). 94% reported high satisfaction, highlighting the practical approach and suggesting its replicability. The training was relevant and effective, improving teaching skills. The high level of participant satisfaction consolidates this initiative as a significant contribution to local development and educational quality.
