Abstract

Continuando el ciclo iniciado el pasado año en torno a la figura del mercader, se ha celebrado en la localidad toscana de Prato, en la sede del Archivo «Francesco Datini», el VII Curso de Especialización en Historia Económica «Federico Melis», entre los días 17 de septiembre y 13 de octubre de 1984. El programa de este año ha previsto el estudio en profundidad de le besoin de sécurité: «El seguro en Europa del siglo XIII al XVIII». El ciclo acabará el próximo otoño con los seminarios que se dedicarán a los medios e instrumentos de pago (Moneda y Cambios) que surgieron o se desarrollaron alrededor de tan importante tema de la historia de los tiempos modernos.
