Abstract

Pedro SCHWARTZ. Un historiador, un pensador, falta hoy entre nosotros: Diego Mateo del Peral, que por desgracia murió en un accidente hace muy poco tiempo. Como compañero que fui de él en el Servicio de Estudios, Grupo de Historiadores, del Banco de España, y testigo de su capacidad y de su contributión a la Historia Económica de España con puntos de vista nuevos que hacía de un inmenso conocimiento y eruditión de la Historia y el pensamiento politico del siglo xix, quería hacer constar, y estoy seguro de que todos los que están aquí secundarán mi propuesta, cuánto lamentamos que Diego no esté hoy con nosotros.
