It is proved that the existing model of development the national economy of Ukraine is characterized by a strong dependence on exports and excessive orientation on the import of goods based on the cumulative effect of the factors. The peculiarities of using the tools at economic and mathematical modeling – the method of moving average – are substantiated, since the main task of forecasting in the conditions at economic process imbalances is the reduction of unavoidable uncertainty associated with the adoption of future-oriented economic decisions. It should be noted that economic-mathematical modeling can be used to substantiate short-term and long-term periods as a method of forecasting financial performance
