Regional features in the process of mergers and acquisitions in the CEE countries

Abstract

Today, mergers and acquisitions in business activities have reached their highest level, encompassing practically all countries of the world. The topic of mergers and acquisitions is relevant - mergers and acquisitions of companies have their own peculiarities in different countries or regions of the world. The article deals with the features of mergers and acquisitions in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The M&A market in CEE countries is analyzed. It reveals the distinction between the specifics of the agreements typical of the CEE countries and their social significance to enhance the economic potential of the region. The main trends of mergers and acquisitions depending on the type of economic activity of the countries included in the given region are considered
