Abstract

Accounting for land is characterized by the presence of various options for displaying it, depending on the purpose. In Ukraine, under the terms of the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land, the implementation of the requirements of IFRS 16 “Lease”, which provides for the balance of leased land, is relevant. Their balance accounting will ensure the disclosure of the real value of assets of agricultural enterprises and will be the first step towards the formation of a land market. A solitary reflection of intangible assets representing rights of use and intellectual property has been proposed, proposals on taxonomy of land use rights indicators have been developed. Reasonably inexpediency of full copying the taxonomy of financial statements according to international financial reporting standards. It is recommended to supplement it with coding to match the chart of accounts and more detailed basic assets of strategic importance in the economy of Ukraine
