Present information technologies in transport and warehouse logistics

Abstract

The article summarizes the issues related to the involvement of information technologies in the automation of transport logistics processes. The goals, advantages and prospects of development within the framework of logistics processes are highlighted. The main goal of this problem is the updating and improvement of information technologies in transport and warehouse logistics, the need to ensure effective information exchange between different parties of the logistics process. This includes suppliers, carriers, warehouses, distributors and other members of the supply chain. The systematization of literary sources and approaches to solving the problem of modern technologies in logistics shows that research in this context is relevant, both from a practical point of view.The urgency of solving this scientific problem lies in the fact that the use of modern information technologies allows automating many routine operations and ensuring a quick and accurate exchange of information between different parties.The peculiarities of information technologies of transport and warehouse logistics and the specifics of their practical application to the development of logistics in general have been studied. It has been proven that the use of modern information technologies in logistics processes is an irreplaceable lever in the management of flow processes in complex economic systems. A number of the main benefits from the implementation of an effective process of applying information technologies to internal logistics processes to ensure profitability and economic growth of enterprises have been revealed.The results of the research can be useful in the decision-making process regarding the implementation of internal logistics processes, which will provide an opportunity to accumulate, process, analyze, and obtain the expected effect in the form of balanced effective management decisions
