Methodological principles of analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises

The article discloses methodological aspects of the study of the state of foreign economic activity of enterprises. The main purpose of the study is to improve the scientific and methodological approach to the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises. A critical analysis of scientific publications on the studied issues revealed the use in the study of the state of foreign economic activity of enterprises of methodological approaches that characterize systemic shortcomings, which does not allow to construct an adequate model for the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises. The urgency of solving this issue is due to the importance of forming a methodological basis corresponding to modern challenges for studying trends and identifying problems of foreign economic activity of enterprises. The methodological basis is the system of methods used to obtain research results: theoretical generalization and comparative analysis – to characterize research methods, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the methodological approaches applied by scientists to the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises; grouping and systematization – to disclose the content and sequence of the implementation of the methodological approach to the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises; modeling and generalization – to build a conceptual model of analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises in the conditions of modern challenges; logical generalization – to obtain conclusions and develop recommendations based on research results. The scientific novelty of the results of the study is an improved methodological approach to the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises and a conceptual model for the analysis of foreign economic activity of enterprises in the conditions of modern challenges. The results of the study have practical value for scientists and users who are interested in studying ways to increase the efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises on the basis of data from an analytical survey of its condition
