Abstract
The article examines the issue of the evolution of organizations, which is caused by the development of society, changes in the value system of people and the characteristics of their behavior. It was revealed that organizations have gone through seven stages in their development: reactive (infrared); conformist (amber); competitive (orange); magical (purple); impulsive (red); pluralistic (green); evolutionary (turquoise). It was found that the modern generation of people prefers freedom, wants to enjoy work, have the opportunity to self-realize, and is not afraid of change. The necessity of improving approaches to management of modern organizations, taking into account the existing needs and peculiarities of the behavior of their employees, is substantiated. It has been established that turquoise organizations, in which emphasis is placed on the formation and effective functioning of self-managed teams of employees, are gaining more and more popularity. The article presents the main features of turquoise organizations: self-organization; integrity; evolutionary goal. It has been proven that the main problem in ensuring the effective functioning of turquoise organizations is the issue of proper management of human resources. It has been established that to ensure the proper functioning of turquoise organizations, employees who possess special skills in the field of teamwork, the ability to self-organize and selfcontrol, focus on self-improvement and professional growth, and are ready for changes and actions are needed. It has been revealed that the labor market of Ukraine is currently dominated by employees represented by generations X and Y. It has been proven that in the near future the dominant share of the labor market will be occupied by employees of generation Z. Since turquoise organizations are organizations of the future, they need to focus on attracting representative employees to work generation Z. It is substantiated that representatives of generation Z have many characteristics necessary for employees of turquoise organizations, but they have problems in the field of socialization, establishing interpersonal communications, teamwork. With this in mind, proposals have been developed to ensure socialization, improve communication skills and teamwork skills of Generation Z employees. The results of the research will be useful for managers and employees of modern organizations, scientists who study the management of organizations and their development.
