The influence of modern information systems and technologies on the formation of the digiral economy

Abstract

This article summarizes the impact of modern information technology on the transformation of the economic system in the context of strengthening the integration of industrial business processes and digital software solutions. The main purpose of the study is to identify specific changes in the system of economic relations, which occur under the influence of the intensification of scientific and technological progress and the formation on this basis of the digital economy. Systematization of literature sources and approaches to solving the problem of digitalization of business processes at all levels shows that this process is inevitable and in the long run may grow into a global digital economic system that will operate regardless of borders and restrictions of government regulation. The urgency of solving this scientific problem is that determining the directions of development of the digital economy allows for timely restructuring of the national economic system to new principles of its functioning. The study of the impact of modern information systems and technologies on the formation of the digital economy is carried out in the following logical sequence: determining the relevance of new digital solutions in economic relations, determining the specifics of business process transformation under the influence of new technological solutions; economy in general. The article presents the results of an empirical analysis of the intensification of the implementation of digital software solutions in business processes, which showed that the integration of production and information systems can significantly improve the overall efficiency of business entities at all levels. The study empirically confirms and theoretically proves that the use of elements of the digital economy - cognitive and cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, chatbots, digital platforms, big data, cryptocurrencies, etc. in enterprises is an objective necessity to form plans for their strategic development. The results of the study can be useful for scientists and practitioners who explore promising areas of business improvement through the use of the latest information systems and technologies in order to increase their overall efficiency and productivity in the digital economy
