Abstract
The paper outlines the legal framework and development of the transport-logistics system of Ukraine and determines its components. Signing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in 2014 has brought about the need to reform and accelerate the European integration processes overall. Their acceleration requires stronger adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the European one, including the need for making amendments to current Laws and approved draft laws considering the EU directives and regulations. The development of the transport-logistics system and elaboration of legislative framework gains utmost importance in conditions of implementation of the comprehensive 2030 National Transport Strategy of Ukraine (NTS), which is provided by the EU Program ‘Support to the Implementation of the Transport Strategy of Ukraine’and in Funding Agreement by this Program. The research aims to detect the development perspectives and emphasize several aspects of the development of the transport-logistics system’s legal framework as well as offer recommendations to improve its functioning. The paper analyzes the legal framework and development of the transport-logistics system, singles out the problems, and suggests ways to overcome them. Making amendments that strengthen the impact on the activity of the transport sector organizations through the integration of Ukrainian and EU transport markets is the major goal of the legal framework currently. Regarding the short-term period, the systemic development of sectors is lacking, while a complex transformation of the transport infrastructure can be expected in the long run
