Problems and prospects for development of the automotive industry in Ukraine

Abstract

The problems and prospects for development of the automotive industry in Ukraine was investigated in the article. The dynamics of automotive production by the market segments (cars automotive industry, trucks automotive industry, buses automotive industry) and the automotive enterprises of Ukraine in 2014–2018 was analysed. The role and contribution of the domestic manufacturers of the cars, trucks and buses in the national automobile market are determined. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the development of Ukrainian automotive industry was systematized in the correlation matrix of the SWOT-analysis
