Relationship between digital tools and financial management of small and medium enterprises in Iquitos, 2024

Abstract

Digital tools are essential for the financial management of small and medium enterprises, as they offer solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy and decision making. The objective was to determine if there is a relationship between digital tools and financial management of small and medium enterprises in Iquitos, 2024. This study used a descriptive, non-experimental and quantitative methodology. The participants were 380 workers with executive or managerial functions in small and medium enterprises in Iquitos. With respect to digital tools, the results reveal that 46,8% of respondents regularly use digital technology, and 51,6% frequently optimize economic gains through effective financial management. Also, at a significance level of less than 0,05, the hypothesis correlation analysis revealed a strong positive association between digital tools and financial management (r = 0,953). Concluding that there is a statistically significant relationship between digital tools and financial management of small and medium enterprises in Iquitos, 2024.
