Gestión estratégica de la información para la mejora de procesos en la industria del calzado

Abstract

Introducción: Este artículo presenta un modelo de gestión de información diseñado para fortalecer la competitividad del sector calzado en Colombia, respondiendo a la necesidad de contar con información estratégica para la toma de decisiones. Metodología: Se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo con método hipotético-deductivo, incluyendo revisión bibliográfica, talleres con actores clave, monitoreo internacional en 100 instituciones, y validación mediante panel con empresarios de ACICAM. Resultados: Se obtuvo un modelo estructurado en cinco dimensiones: mercado laboral, procesos productivos, conocimiento de mercados, infraestructura y logística, y cultura organizacional. Este modelo puede replicarse en otras cadenas productivas para apoyar la innovación y la toma de decisiones basada en necesidades reales.
