La bonanza petrolera colombiana a principios del siglo XXI: su dudosa relación con la temible enfermedad holandesa

Abstract

Entre 2000 y 2001, la economía colombiana fue testigo de un auge en el precio del petróleo, lo que llevo a que, en los próximos años, este se convirtiera en el producto más exportado del país, ganando cada vez más protagonismo dentro del PIB. Este proceso duró hasta 2011, donde los precios del crudo comenzaron a descender, causando que este perdiera peso precipitada-mente, dejando afectada la economía. Dicho en otras palabras, Colombia presentó una bonanza petrolera sin precedentes, y esto es un hecho, pero lo que todavía se encuentra en discusión es, si debido a esto se presenció una enfermedad holandesa.
