Abstract

****** Abstract This articule, derived from the theoretical framework of the research about the prospective study of general competencies of Managers and CEO´s from companies that are part from the world-class sectors, proposes an analytic view to one of the sectors with a higher impact in the country, the BPO sector, Throughout the Productive Transformation Program (PTP) the national government pretends to take Colombia to an enduring productive development and generates a policy partnership for companies to be more competitive, productive and more trained to the international perspective. The strategic sectors of the Colombian economy reflect the reality of a globalized environment in terms of expansion and consolidation of its markets as a strategy, moreover, of incorporation of the growing labor force and the use of business impact projects such as the PTP. In perspective, Antioquia has been one of the regions more strenght in the country, and has based its growth and business sustainability by involving all stakeholders towards industry consolidation through the expansion of shared business visions such as the erection of clústers like the one of ICT (Information and communications technology).
