5 - Capital social en empresas pertenecientes al clúster de energía en Antioquia

Abstract

Resumen Este artículo hace parte de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo evaluar el desarrollo del Capital Social de las empresas pertenecientes al clúster de energía eléctrica de Antioquia, a partir de un diagnóstico realizado en 2011. Del estudio se concluye que, si bien el capital social es incipiente, el factor que mayor incidencia tiene sobre la construcción del capital social es la gestión efectiva de la relación con los proveedores, aunque son también factores importantes la edad de la empresa, la percepción de calidad de las vías, la percepción sobre la situación del empleo y de la seguridad en la ciudad de Medellín. El clúster de energía eléctrica de Antioquia no es suficientemente conocido por las empresas que lo conforman, lo cual afecta el estado de su capital social. La gestión de las relaciones comerciales entre proveedores y clientes puede promover el desarrollo del capital social y estimular a que las empresas cooperen y se asocien. ****** Abstract This article is part of a research aimed to evaluate the development of the social capital of the companies in the cluster power of Antioquia, from a diagnosis made in 2011. The study concludes that while social capital is emerging, the most crucial factor affecting the construction of social capital is the effective management of the relationship with suppliers, but is also important factors the age of the company, the perception quality of the roads, the perception of the employment situation and the security in the city of Medellin. The cluster of Antioquia power is not sufficiently known by the companies that comprise it, which affects the state of its social capital. The management of business relationships between suppliers and customers can promote social capital development and encourage companies to cooperate and partner among them.
