Turismo sostenible: caso de gestión de la responsabilidad ambiental en un establecimiento hotelero en Cartagena

Abstract

Este artículo pretende mostrar el resultado de un diagnóstico empresarial en materia de responsabilidad social ambiental en un establecimiento hotelero en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias, con la intención de impulsar el concepto de turismo sostenible en la región a través de la visualización de empresas líderes. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo, se realizó un estudio de caso; las técnicas utilizadas fueron las entrevistas semi estructuradas, la observación directa y la revisión de la documentación de la organización. Se realizó la construcción de un instrumento guía para el diagnóstico. Se concluye que el establecimiento hotelero es un tipo de empresa líder por ser proactiva en la incorporación de prácticas ambientales que contribuyen al Desarrollo Sostenible.
