Abstract

El presente artículo se realizó basado en el trabajo de investigación “Análisis de la inversión extranjera en Colombia anos 1990 a 2005”, se extrapoló al ano 2011, con el fin de senalar de manera actualizada y sintetizada el marco jurídico e institucional de la inversión extranjera en Colombia.Se enuncian sus principios, los tipos y modalidades de inversión que pueden realizarse en el país y los requisitos para que ella se perfeccione. También, se esboza compiladamente los regímenes especiales que debe tener en cuenta los inversionistas extranjeros para invertir en Colombia.
