Abstract

El presente artículo recopila información histórica clave acerca del rol de los monterianos dentro del tejido social de la ciudad de Montería en momentos puntuales tanto de la época de independencia como en el periodo pos-independentista, a su vez analiza dentro de esos roles experiencias claves de comunicación participativa y empoderamiento ciudadano generadoras de procesos de transformación social dentro de la capital del departamento de Córdoba desde la época independentista hasta la primera mitad del siglo XX.
