Los cambios políticos a través del pensamiento y el lenguaje

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende demostrar que la característica fundamental de las revoluciones políticas, más que una violencia a la cual se recurre ante la imposibilidad de imponer retórica y persuasivamente los nuevos conceptos a través de los cuales se pretende interpretar ahora la realidad o modificar la relación que se tiene con ella, está constituida por el cambio conceptual y de lenguaje que tiene lugar en esos momentos, ya que estamos convencidos, como lo está Umberto Eco (1990: 417), que “la producción de signos desencadena fuerzas sociales y más aún, representa una fuerza social en sí misma”. Que las revoluciones políticas se producen cuando un grupo social trata, a través de los diferentes recursos sígnicos, de hacer universal sus particulares creencias y valores.
