Una aproximación cognoscitiva sobre la medición y valoración del medio ambiente bajo el paradigma contemporaneo

Abstract

El presente artículo recoge las reflexiones iniciales del autor alrededor de la relación medio ambiente y contabilidad bajo el denominado paradigma contemporáneo. En él se expone una reflexión sobre la concepción tradicional de la medición y valoración en contabilidad, la cual evidencia la insuficiencia de las herramientas contables ortodoxas para el abordaje de la naturaleza, situación que requiere de un replanteamiento de dicha racionalidad; por ello en los acápites finales del texto se plantean razonamientos que pueden servir de base para el desarrollo de estructuras o metodologías contables (de medición y valoración) más ajustadas a la realidad medio ambiental.
