La educación básica en Colombia: Una mirada a las políticas educativas

Abstract

Las reflexiones que se presentan en el siguiente artículo proponen una discusión sobre las políticas educa-tivas relacionadas con la calidad de la educación básica en Colombia. Se realizan análisis de las principales concepciones teóricas de la categoría de calidad y de los estudios más relevantes sobre la relación escuela- calidad y política educativa. En esta medida, el artículo muestra, también, acercamientos teóricos a las con-cepciones de educación básica primaria, el rol del docente como factor asociado a la calidad de la educación y las diversas miradas de la política educativa como apuesta al mejoramiento de la calidad de la educación.
