Desafíos de la investigación contable, el ejercicio profesional en armonía con la investigación académica

Abstract

En la ciencia contable se han venido desarrollando investigaciones desde su campo en búsqueda de incrementar aportes epistemológicos, tanto en el contexto académico como en el ejercicio profesional; éstas, mayoritariamente, han sido desarrolladas bajo un enfoque cuantitativo dando cuenta de la necesidad de desarrollar temas pragmáticos y relacionados con la normatividad contable. Sin embargo, los desafíos o retos a los cuales se enfrenta la disciplina contable son innumerables. Para la investigación se realiza una revisión documental sobre investigaciones con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, teniendo en cuenta la interdisciplinariedad de la ciencia contable. En conclusión, el presente paper plantea la necesidad de una interconexión en investigación contable, académica y profesional, que permita generar armonización entre ellas y que respondan de manera coherente al desarrollo de la ciencia contable con ética y responsabilidad social.
