Abstract

Las revistas científicas colombianas son evaluadas según lo establecido en el Índice Bibliográfico Nacional Publindex, el cual representa un proceso de continuos cambios, con la intención de consolidar la calidad de las publicaciones seriadas científicas nacionales (Escobar & Angulo, 2015). En éste proceso, se han presentado divergencias entre los parámetros nacionales y los requerimientos internacionales que establecen las bases de datos bibliográficas (Rodríguez-Morales, 2014). De alguna manera, estas diferencias han determinado los bajos niveles de visibilidad internacional de las revistas científicas colombianas, a pesar de su mejor posicionamiento en el ranking nacional y del creciente número de revistas indexadas nacionalmente (Publindex, 2013).
