Abstract

“Este trabajo analiza los efectos de un acuerdo de libre comercio en el marco del Grupo de los Tres sobre la economía colombiana. Está dividido en tres partes. En la primera se presenta un balance breve de la economía mexicana y de las variables macroeconómicas que pueden afectar su posición competitiva en relación con Colombia. Esta parte hace uso extenso de la literatura existente, a la cual se puede acudir para un análisis más detallado. La segunda examina la estructura del comercio exterior mexicano, colombiano y colombo-mexicano y deriva de allí consideraciones sobre las "ventajas comparativas reveladas" de ambos países. La última presenta algunas conclusiones y hace algunas apreciaciones adicionales sobre contener un eventual acuerdo de libre comercio colombo-mexicano.”
