Cali, ¿cómo vamos en pobreza? Efectos de zona, comuna y hogar en la percepción de la pobreza

Abstract

Los estudios de pobreza, desde el punto de vista de la metodología objetiva, suelen basarse en los ingresos de las familias, índices de calidad de vida y necesidades insatisfechas, para caracterizar a ciertos grupos sociales como pobres. Por otro lado, existen los estudios subjetivos que abordan la pobreza a partir del criterio del individuo sobre su situación. Este trabajo pretende determinar cuáles pueden ser las variables que inciden sobre la autopercepción de pobreza, teniendo en cuenta características del individuo, hogar y ciudad, tomando como fuente de información los datos de la Encuesta de Percepción Ciudadana" realizada para el programa Cali ¿Cómo vamos? durante el ano 2008."
